Strength & Conditioning and Injury Rehab

Strength & Conditioning (S&C) services are available to all athletes and members of the public with specific fitness goals. We offer face to face as well as online packages to help you take your physical performance to the next level.

Face to face coaching offers a professional and individualised athlete-centred approach to improving physical performance through mobility, strength, power and conditioning training based on the athlete’s goals.

The online / remote coaching is delivered through TeamBuidr app, allowing you to train from the comfort of your own / local gym anywhere in the world while still having access to elite level coaching and programming.

Not being able to play and compete in your sport can be one of the most difficult things in athlete’s career. We provide evidence based, professional and individualised support to ensure that any injured athlete is rehabilitated safely and appropriately.

Throughout years of experience working with athletes of different levels and age, we have the knowledge and experience of personal and technical requirements that underpin a successful rehab using evidence based methods.

We have experience of rehabbing ACL, shoulder, hamstring, ankle and soft tissue injuries.

 

Speed & Agility

We provide high quality, individualised speed and agility training services to individuals and teams at our or your preferred location.

We offer a high quality, progressive, individualised training programs based on athlete’s assessment of current technique, ability, experience, goals and needs. The programs will cover running technique, initial acceleration development, maximal speed, change of direction and agility development.


Our Process:

  • We will start with a needs analysis of your sport and position.

  • We will test your sprint speed using timing gates over 30m distance to create your Sprint Profile which will identify your strengths and weaknesses.

  • We will simultaneously use camera to analyse your current sprinting technique to be able to identify key areas of improvement.

  • We will also test your agility using timing gates and multiple change of direction tests.

  • We will create an individualised speed and agility program focusing on key areas identified during testing and from Sprint Profile (for example if we identified that your weakness is acceleration, we will focus on improving speed over 10-20m).

  • During training we will use STATSports GPS technology to monitor your progress and key performance indicators such as acceleration, maximal speed, high speed running, distance covered, heart rate etc.
